Structure–Reactivity Relationships of Oxime–Oxalate/Glyoxylate/Ester Derivatives: Dual Photo/Thermal Initiators for Visible Light Polymerization and Composite Preparation [PDF]

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 4, 22 January 2026.
OP1, a newly synthesized nitro‐carbazole oxime oxalate, shows superior Type I photoinitiation under blue LEDs and sunlight due to efficient decarboxylation. It enables high‐resolution 3D printing, offers dual photo/thermal initiation, lower cytotoxicity than TPO, and provides insights for designing sustainable photoinitiators.

Characterization of prepreg-prepreg and prepreg-tool friction for unidirectional carbon fiber/epoxy prepreg during hot diaphragm forming process

open access: yesPolymer Testing, 2020
Abstract The frictional behaviors of prepreg-prepreg and prepreg-tool play the most important role in hot diaphragm forming and greatly influence the quality of the final product. A new set-up was developed to characterize the frictional behaviors for unidirectional carbon fiber/epoxy prepreg.

Analysis of initiator content of prepreg by near-infrared spectroscopy

open access: yesReviews in Analytical Chemistry, 2022
During the production process of some copper clad laminate (CCL), the content of 3,3,5,7,7-pentamethyl-1,2,4-trioxepane in prepreg can affect the cross-linking and curing degree of resin directly, and thereby affect the properties of CCL. In this article,
