A Cavity-Pressure Method for Measuring the Gain of Hearing Aids [PDF]
A cavity-pressure method for measuring the gain of hearing aids has been developed. It has the advantage of requiring no dead room, allowing a compact set-up. The method has been investigated as to its validity and the degree to which diffraction effects are avoided. Comparisons with free-field data are made.

Lifestyle Behaviors and Cardiotoxic Treatment Risks in Adult Childhood Cancer Survivors
ABSTRACT Background Higher doses of anthracyclines and heart‐relevant radiotherapy increase cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. This study assessed CVD and CVD risk factors among adult childhood cancer survivors (CCSs) across cardiotoxic treatment risk groups and examined associations between lifestyle behaviors and treatment risks.

GEM Operation in Negative Ion Drift Gas Mixtures
The first operation of GEM gas gain elements in negative ion gas mixtures is reported. Gains up to several thousand were obtained from single-stage GEMs in carbon disulfide vapor at low pressure, and in mixtures of carbon disulfide with Argon and Helium,

Investigation of the relationship between combustion efficiency and total pressure gain for RDE
Total pressure gain is an important parameter in RDC engineering applications. Many factors affect the total pressure gain, such as the area ratio of the outlet to the inlet (A8/A3.1) and type of fuel.
