Anemia and Patient‐Reported Outcomes in Patients With Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria: A Real‐World Observational Study

open access: yeseJHaem, Volume 7, Issue 4, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) is a rare hematologic disorder characterized by complement‐mediated hemolysis, thrombosis, bone marrow failure, and anemia. Direct Thrombectomy vs. Combined Treatment With Intravenous Thrombolysis in the Extended Time Window: A Target Trial Emulation

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neurology, Volume 33, Issue 7, July 2026.
This target‐trial emulation compared direct MT (n = 212) vs. IVT + MT (n = 135) in anterior‐circulation LVO patients treated 4.5–24 h or at wake‐up, eligible for IVT with perfusion mismatch. Using IPW with a non‐inferiority margin RD ≥ −1.3% for 90‐day mRS 0–2, direct MT was not non‐inferior to IVT + MT (adjRD −2.9%, 95% CI −6.64 to 0.84).
