A predator–prey model with infected prey
Theoretical Population Biology, 2004A predator-prey model with logistic growth in the prey is modified to include an SIS parasitic infection in the prey with infected prey being more vulnerable to predation. Thresholds are identified which determine when the predator population survives and when the disease remains endemic.

PREY ADAPTATION AS A CAUSE OF PREDATOR-PREY CYCLES
Evolution; International Journal of Organic Evolution, 1997We analyze simple models of predator-prey systems in which there is adaptive change in a trait of the prey that determines the rate at which it is captured by searching predators. Two models of adaptive change are explored: (1) change within a single reproducing prey population that has genetic variation for vulnerability to capture by the predator ...

Stationary Patterns of a Predator–Prey Model with Prey-Stage Structure and Prey-Taxis
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2021In this paper, a predator–prey model with prey-stage structure and prey-taxis is proposed and studied. Firstly, the local stability of non-negative constant equilibria is analyzed. It is shown that non-negative equilibria have the same stability between ODE system and self-diffusion system, and self-diffusion does not have a destabilization effect. We

THE RECENT antitrust policy literature which seeks to define predatory pricing contains a flood of proposals which have "pervasively transformed an entire body of law".1 One theme of this literature is that a readily anticipatable standard should be established, so that firms will not fear being sued for normal competitive responses; another is that ...

Prey dominance in discrete predator-prey systems with a prey refuge
Mathematical Biosciences, 1997The effects of a prey refuge in a multiprey discrete system with predation is studied. We demonstrate the stable coexistence of species that would otherwise exclude each other without a prey refuge. With a prey refuge, we show that an endangered prey not only recovers from the brink of extinction, but also dominates the system.

Bifurcations of a diffusive predator–prey model with prey‐stage structure and prey‐taxis
Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2023This paper is concerned with a diffusive predator–prey model with prey‐taxis and prey‐stage structure under the homogeneous Neumann boundary condition. The stability of the unique positive constant equilibrium of the predator–prey model is derived. Hopf bifurcation and steady‐state bifurcation are also concluded.
