Comparison Function and Boyd–Wong–Type Contractions in Kaleva–Seikkala’s Type Fuzzy b‐Metric Space

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this article, we study the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for mappings in Kaleva–Seikkala’s type fuzzy b‐metric spaces. Nonlinear contractions of the comparison function and Boyd–Wong’s type are considered, and several new fixed point theorems for these contractions in complete Kaleva‐Seikkala’s type fuzzy b‐metric spaces are presented. Fixed Points Theorem on A Pair of Random Generalized Non-Linear Contractions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A fixed point theorem for a pair of random generalized non-linear contraction mappings involving four points of the space under consideration is proven. It is shown that this result includes the result of Lee and Padgett [1].

Characterization of a b-metric space completeness via the existence of a fixed point of Ciric-Suzuki type quasi-contractive multivalued operators and applications

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2019
The aim of this paper is to introduce Ciric-Suzuki type quasi-contractive multivalued operators and to obtain the existence of fixed points of such mappings in the framework of b-metric spaces.

Generalized α − ψ Rational‐Type Contractions and Related Fixed Point Results in Controlled Metric Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
We introduce the new notion of generalized α − ψ rational type contractions of type I and type II in controlled metric spaces. By making use of these new notions, some fixed point theorems are also proved in the mentioned spaces for the α− admissible self maps.

Generalized Fixed Point Theorems for Compatible Mapping in Fuzzy 2-Metric Space for Integral Type Mapping [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we give some new definitions of compatible mappings of types (I) and  (II) in fuzzy-2 metric space and prove some common  fixed point theorems  for four mappings under the condition of compatible mappings of types (I) and (II) in complete ...

Revisiting of some outstanding metric fixed point theorems via E-contraction

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2018
In this paper, we introduce the notion of α-ψ-contractive mapping of type E, to remedy of the weakness of the existing contraction mappings. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of such mappings.

An Introduction to C∗‐Algebra‐Valued Metric‐Like Space With Related Applications

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
It is well‐known that the main objective of metric‐like spaces is to pave way for the development of fixed point results in nonstandard framework, such as in nonsymmetric distance structures, where self‐distances might be nonzero. This objective becomes more achievable when the range set of the distance function is a C∗‐algebra. Unfortunately, the idea

Orthogonal stability of the generalized quadratic functional equations in the sense of Rätz

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2019
Let (X, ⊥) be an orthogonality module in the sense of Rätz over a unital Banach algebra A and Y be a real Banach module over A. In this paper, we apply the alternative fixed point theorem for proving the Hyers-Ulam stability of the orthogonally ...

New Common Fixed Point Results in Ultrametric Spaces Utilizing Various Contractions and Their Applications to Integral Equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This study explores fixed points and common fixed points for self‐mappings on ultrametric spaces, regardless of the assumption of spherical completeness. By presenting generalized contractive conditions based on the p‐adic contraction, we extend classical fixed point results and illustrate their practical use through meticulously crafted examples.
