Impact of MgO Additions on the Oxidation Resistance and Compression Behavior of Vanadium Alloys
An increase in oxidation resistance at 600 °C is achieved for alloys containing more than 2.5 wt.% MgO. It has been established that, along with V2O5, MgO6V2, and Mg2O7V2 are formed, which are presumed to enhance oxidative stability. Furthermore, the possible transformation of Mg‐vanadates through reaction with CO2, which presumably occurs in this ...

Bilateral Acute Angle-Closure Glaucoma Induced By Escitalopram
Escitalopram is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor(SSRI) class. In this manuscript, we report the case of a female patient who developed bilateral acute angle-closure glaucoma induced by escitalopram.

This article investigates the dependence of the properties on the manufacturing orientation in the form of the inclination angle to the build plate of LPBF‐fabricated NiTi rods with a diameter of 150–220 µm. Metallographic, chemical, thermal, and mechanical characterization show behavior under identical manufacturing conditions that ranges from ...

Architecture‐Driven Sensor Stability in Weft‐Knitted Engineering Textiles
Textile‐integrated sensor architectures are systematically compared to evaluate their electromechanical behavior under combined mechanical and environmental loading. Pocket‐based integration exhibits stable and reproducible signals, whereas tunnel‐based routing shows higher sensitivity accompanied by increased variability.

ACUTE PRIMARY ANGLE CLOSURE: CASE REPORT [PDF]
Acute primary angle-closure is an ocular emergency caused by the rapid increase in intraocular pressure due to outflow obstruction of aqueous humor. The major predisposing factor is the structural anatomy of the anterior chamber, leading to a shallower

Self‐Cleaning Sensor Surfaces for Long‐Term Environmental Monitoring
Long‐term use of unattended outdoor sensors without soiling or biofouling is achieved through generation of a micro‐ and nanorough cuvette surface by combing hydrophobic nanoparticles with fluorinated polymers, crosslinked and surface‐attached through CHic chemistry. The coating demonstrates self‐cleaning behavior and prolonged outdoor stability, which
