Observing the CMB at High-l using the VSA and AMI
We discuss two experiments - the Very Small Array (VSA) and the Arcminute MicroKelvin Imager (AMI) - and their prospects for observing the CMB at high angular multipoles.

The orbit of the close spectroscopic binary epsilon Lupi and the intrinsic variability of its early B-type components [PDF]
We subjected 106 new high-resolution spectra of the double-lined spectroscopic close binary epsilon Lupi, obtained in a time-span of 17 days from two different observatories, to a detailed study of orbital and intrinsic variations.

Asymmetry of the Ferroelectric Phase Transition in BaTiO3
Phase transitions are typically assumed to behave identically in forward and reverse. This work shows that in the ferroelectric material barium titanate this is not true: heating drives an abrupt, first‐order jump, while cooling gives a smooth, continuous change.

The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...
