Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

A universal model for spike-frequency adaptation [PDF]
Spike-frequency adaptation is a prominent feature of neural dynamics. Among other mechanisms, various ionic currents modulating spike generation cause this type of neural adaptation.

Life Cycle Estimation of Battery Energy Storage Systems for Primary Frequency Regulation
An increasing share of renewable energy sources in power systems requires ad-hoc tools to guarantee the closeness of the system’s frequency to its rated value.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Primary Frequency Control with Flywheel Energy Storage Technologies [PDF]
Over the last decade, concerns about greenhouse gas emissions have increased. Different strategies have been developed to minimize those effects, leading to the development of renewable energy sources worldwide.

Optimizing Energy Storage Participation in Primary Frequency Regulation: A Novel Analytical Approach for Virtual Inertia and Damping Control in Low-Carbon Power Systems [PDF]
As renewable energy penetration increases, maintaining grid frequency stability becomes more challenging due to reduced system inertia. This paper proposes an analytical control strategy that enables distributed energy resources (DERs) to provide ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
