Trends in Clinical Features of Primary Hyperparathyroidism During 2013-2024. [PDF]
Objective Clinical features of primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) differ between developed and developing countries. In past decades, patterns of PHPT have changed while there are currently few data on large cohorts in Chinese. Therefore, this study aims to describe changes in clinical features of Chinese patients with PHPT.

Three Malagasy Cases of Severe Bone Complications Revealing Primary Hyperparathyroidism. [PDF]
Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is a metabolic disorder characterized by hypercalcemia with elevated or unsuppressed parathyroid hormone (PTH). It is rare in children but common in adults, particularly in women around the age of 50. In 85% of cases, PHPT is asymptomatic and is diagnosed following hypercalcemia and elevated PTH levels during routine ...

European multicentre study on outcome of surgery for sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism
Some 5861 patients undergoing first‐time surgery for sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism were registered in the Eurocrine® database between 2015 and 2018. The use of intraoperative parathyroid hormone measurement decreased the risk of conversion and persistent hypercalcaemia.

Clinical, biochemical and radiological profile of normocalcemic primary hyperparathyroidism.
CONTEXT The clinical and radiological aspects of normocalcaemic hyperparathyroidism (NHPT) are confounded by differing methods used to rule out secondary hyperparathyroidism and by the small sample size.
