Bu araştırma sınıf öğretmenlerinin öz yeterlik inançlarının cinsiyet, hizmet yılı ve okulun bulunduğu yerleşim yeri değişkenlerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Tarama modelinde olan araştırmanın evrenini, 2008-2009 eğitim öğretim yılında Burdur ilinde görev yapan 876 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır.
