Cooperative communication between cognitive and primary users [PDF]
The active cooperation between a primary user (PU) and a cognitive user (CU) has the potential of leading to a transmission power reduction and transmission rate increase for both the PU and the CU. Alternatively, the required bandwidth may be reduced and the freed bandwidth may be leased to a group of CUs for their secondary communications.

Primary non‐adherence and the new‐user design [PDF]
The new‐user design has been widely used in pharmacoepidemiology. By following patients from the initiation of a treatment, the new‐user design has several advantages over designs that begin follow‐up on prevalent users. The new‐user design allows study of the full time course of outcome risk after treatment initiation, with representation of early and

Opportunistic Channel Allocation Model in Collocated Primary Cognitive Network [PDF]
The growing demand of radio spectrum to facilitate the primary/secondary users in a cellular network is a challenging task. Many channel allocation models, applying cognition, have been proposed to increase the radio spectrum utilization.

Detection of spectrum hole from n-number of primary users using machine learning algorithms
A method for detecting spectrum holes based on the n-number of primary users (PU's) in a cognitive radio environment, using a cooperative spectrum sensing model is proposed in this study. The fusion centre, senses the n-number of PUs.
