Understanding Estonian phraseological units on the basis of Finnish: Contributing and misleading factors

open access: yesLähivõrdlusi, 2020
Finns reading Estonian texts have a variety of strategies to make sense of them. One is priming, which means that language users consciously or unconsciously rely on previous knowledge of associations that occur in phraseological units.

On the solvability of third-order three point systems of differential equations with dependence on the first derivative

open access: yes, 2016
This paper presents sufficient conditions for the solvability of the third order three point boundary value problem \begin{equation*} \left\{ \begin{array}{c} -u^{\prime \prime \prime }(t)=f(t,\,v(t),\,v^{\prime }(t)) \\ -v^{\prime \prime \prime }(t)=h(t,

The $\eta^\prime g^* g^{(*)}$ Vertex Including the $\eta^\prime$-Meson Mass [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The $\eta^\prime g^* g^{(*)}$ effective vertex function is calculated in the QCD hard-scattering approach, taking into account the $\eta^\prime$-meson mass.

Personalized Selumetinib Dosing in Pediatric Neurofibromatosis Type 1: Insights From a Pilot Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Study on successive superconducting transitions in Ta$_{2}$S$_{2}$C from electrical resistivity and nonlinear AC magnetic susceptibility [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Ta$_{2}$S$_{2}$C compound undergoes superconducting transitions at $T_{cl} = 3.60 \pm 0.02$ K and $T_{cu} = 9.0 \pm 0.2$ K. The nature of successive superconducting transitions has been studied from electrical resistivity, linear and nonlinear AC ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
