Non-cyclotomic presentations of modules and prime-order automorphisms of Kirchberg algebras [PDF]
We prove the following theorem: let A be a UCT Kirchberg algebra, and let α be a prime-order automorphism of K ∗(A), with α([1 A ]) = [1 A ] in case A is unital. Then α is induced from an automorphism of A having the same order as α.

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

A class of singular n-dimensional impulsive Neumann systems
This paper investigates the existence of infinitely many positive solutions for the second-order n-dimensional impulsive singular Neumann system −x″(t)+Mx(t)=λg(t)f(t,x(t)),t∈J,t≠tk,−Δx′|t=tk=μIk(tk,x(tk)),k=1,2,…,m,x′(0)=x′(1)=0.

On the Sets of Real Numbers Recognized by Finite Automata in Multiple Bases [PDF]
This article studies the expressive power of finite automata recognizing sets of real numbers encoded in positional notation. We consider Muller automata as well as the restricted class of weak deterministic automata, used as symbolic set representations

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Prime Strictly Concentric Magic Squares of Odd Order
Magic squares have been widely studied, with publications of mathematical interest dating back over 100 years. Most studies construct and analyse specific subsets of magic squares, with some exploring links to puzzles, number theory, and graph theory ...

1-smooth pro-p groups and the Bloch-Kato conjecture
Let $p$ be a prime. We study pro-$p$ groups $G$ endowed with a continuous homomorphism $G\to1+p\mathbb{Z}_p$ satisfying a formal version of Hilbert 90. These pro-$p$ groups are particularly important in Galois theory because by Kummer theory maximal pro-$

ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...
