On derivations in \sigma-prime rings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Algebra, 2007
Summary: Let \((R,\sigma)\) be a 2-torsion free \(\sigma\)-prime ring with involution \(\sigma\) and \(d\) be a nonzero derivation of \(R\). In the present paper it is shown that if \(d\) is centralizing, then \(R\) is commutative. Furthermore, if \(d\) commutes with \(\sigma\) and \(0\neq I\) is a \(\sigma\)-ideal of \(R\) such that either \([d(x),d(y)

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

REMARKS ON GENERALIZED DERIVATIONS IN ∗−PRIME RINGS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Systems
Let (R, ∗) be a ∗−prime ring with characteristic different from two, and L ̸= 0be a square closed ∗−Lie ideal of R. An additive mapping F : R −→ R is calleda generalized derivation on R if there exists a derivation d : R −→ R such thatF(xy) = F(x)y + xd ...

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Fitting ideals and module structure [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Let R be a commutative ring with a 1. Original work by H. Fitting showed how we can associate to each finitely generated E-module a unique sequence of R-ideals, which are known as Fitting Ideals. The aim of this thesis is to undertake an investigation of

Prime uniserial modules and rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We define prime uniserial modules as a generalization of uniserial modules. We say that an [Formula: see text]-module [Formula: see text] is prime uniserial ([Formula: see text]-uniserial) if its prime submodules are linearly ordered by inclusion, and ...

Generalized (theta, theta)- Semi-derivations of Prime Near-rings

open access: yesWasit Journal of Computer and Mathematics Science
The concept of differential algebra has been initiated before many years ago. This research topic has inspired a lot of authors to its study with different algebraic structures such as rings or semi-rings.

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Bounded generalized Dedekind prime rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We give several characterizations of bounded generalized Dedekind prime rings in terms of invertible prime ideals and provide examples of PI generalized Dedekind prime rings in which every maximal ideal is ...
