Floral meristem (FM) activity is crucial for the initiation of floral organs. In this study, SE represses IPT7 expression and cytokinin signaling via both the miR171c‐5p–KNAT2 and miR164c–CUC1/2–KNAT2 regulatory modules, thereby repressing FM activity. In contrast, STM induces both KNAT2 and IPT7 expression.

ABSTRACT Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains therapeutically challenging due to high metastasis, recurrence, and immunotherapy resistance driven by tumor microenvironment‐mediated immune evasion. Immunogenic cell death (ICD) offers a promising strategy to reshape the immune microenvironment, yet existing ICD inducers suffer from poor targeting efficiency ...

RNA structural profiling of Turnip Yellow Mosaic Virus by DMS‐MaPseq and DREEM analyses uncover that viral genome‐wide RSS is highly complicated and heterogeneous, with alternative RSSs widely distributed across the genome. Notably, the viral 3’ tRNA‐like structure adopts alternative conformations in vivo.

This study identifies the mechanosensor PIEZO1 as a key factor in promoting acute myeloid leukemia progression and uncovers a ferroptosis defense system mediated by PIEZO1‐HIF1A‐SLC7A11 axis that is essential for leukemia stem cell maintenance. This ferroptotic defense system may represent a unique vulnerability for leukemia stem cells, providing a ...

Abstract Scharp has argued that inconsistency theorists of truth should deny that the concept of truth can be analysed. Since nihilism includes a Ramseyan analysis of the concept of truth, Scharp’s argument threatens nihilism. This chapter shows that Scharp’s argument is illuminating but only establishes a fairly limited conclusion ...

This chapter explores the term ‘primitivism’, used to refer to a predilection for archaic, elementary and unevolved artistic models. Primitivism is also an immediate consequence of the polarisation created by the idea of progress in Western art history.

Primitivism and Philo-primitivism
2017Chapter 2 advances the historical side of the argument by drawing a distinction between “philo-primitivism” and “emphatic primitivism.” It finds that the philo-primitivist ideal of the “noble savage” was the product of earlier periods of European colonial expansion when there yet existed social worlds beyond the perimeter of the capitalist world-system.
