Survey of anonymous communication system

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong, 2021
Anonymous communication system refers to a network that is built on the network application layer and combines data forwarding, content encryption, traffic obfuscation and other technologies to realize the association between communication entities and ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

The Principle of Reciprocity

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance, 2011
The circumstances surrounding the realisation that NMR signal reception could be quantified in a simple fundamental manner using Lorentz's Principle of Reciprocity are described. The poor signal-to-noise ratio of the first European superconducting magnet is identified as a major motivating factor, together with the author's need to understand phenomena

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

PRINSIP PENGGEMBALAAN DALAM MAZMUR 23

open access: yesManna Rafflesia, 2020
There are many writings that deal with shepherding. In this article we discuss" Shepherding Principles "based on the perspective of Psalm 23. The psalmist stresses the importance of understanding the shepherding principle. In this discussion will explain

The principles of Kemalism

open access: yesMilletleraras, 1980
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (1881- 1938) is not generallyknown as a "builder" of theories. it was his deliberatechoice not to leave behind an "inflexible doctrine". Hewanted his teachings to be dynamic views suiting the needto become contemporary in every way. Ideologies, no doubt.play a role in all regimes.

Is it the Principal Principle that Implies the Principle of Indifference? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Hawthorne et al. (Br J Philos Sci, http://bjps.oxfordjournals.org/lookup/doi/10.1093/bjps/axv030) argue that the Principal Principle implies a version of the Principle of Indifference. We show that what the Authors take to be the Principle of Indifference can be obtained without invoking anything which would seem to be related to the Principal ...
