Uncertainty quantification in dimensions dataset of additive manufactured NIST standard test artifact

open access: yesData in Brief, 2021
The printed features on an additive manufactured part will often deviate from the nominal values of the 3D model's features due to the factors such as printer resolution, printing parameters, printing technology, and the measurement method.

Darcian permeability constant as indicator for shear stresses in regular scaffold systems for tissue engineering [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The shear stresses in printed scaffold systems for tissue engineering depend on the flow properties and void volume in the scaffold. In this work, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is used to simulate flow fields within porous scaffolds used for cell ...

Acoustic Attenuation in High-$T_c$ Superconductors

open access: yes, 1995
We analyze the acoustic attenuation rate in high-$T_c$ superconductors, and find that this method offers an additional way to examine the anisotropy of the superconducting order parameter in these materials.

Digital Printing Cards Order

open access: yesINTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT
ABSTRACT The project current landscape of custom text-based printing often involves fragmented processes, lacks intuitive design tools, and requires significant manual intervention. This project addresses these inefficiencies by introducing a unified, user-centric mobile/web application that provides an end-to- end solution for on-demand printing.

Characterization of Defect Distribution in an Additively Manufactured AlSi10Mg as a Function of Processing Parameters and Correlations with Extreme Value Statistics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Innovating Aircraft Repair Processes: The Role of Digitalization in Sustainability

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This research explores how digitalization—by storing detailed non‐destructive testing data in structured DICONDE databases and creating a standard data model of the component—innovates aviation maintenance and repair processes. Coupled with a developed state‐based simulation model, it enables data‐driven, sustainable repair strategies that reduce waste,
