Three phosphatase families form a community: The phosphohydrolases that act upon inositol pyrophosphates

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

Using history matching for prior choice

open access: yes, 2018
It can be important in Bayesian analyses of complex models to construct informative prior distributions which reflect knowledge external to the data at hand.

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Determining p-values for Systems Cointegration Tests With a Prior Adjustment for Deterministic Terms [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper I present a procedure to approximate the asymptotic distributions of systems cointegration tests with a prior adjustment for deterministic terms suggested by Lütkepohl, Saikkonen & Trenkler (2004), Saikkonen & Lütkepohl (2000a, 2000b, 2000c)
