Fibrous Pressure Sensor with Unique Resistance Increase under Partial Compression: Coaxial Wet‐Spun TiO2/Graphene/Thermoplastic Polyurethane Multi‐Wall Multifunctional Fiber

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
TGTMW fibers are designed to show a sharp resistance increase under pressure, as the multi‐wall structure in the transition region between compressed and uncompressed areas bends and forms microcracks. This design breaks the physical sensitivity limit of conventional fiber‐shaped pressure sensors, which usually show resistance reduction under pressure ...

Array codes for private-key encryption

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1994
A new technique for private-key encryption, which is based on single burst-correcting array codes, is introduced. The method makes use of the fact that the class of array codes considered is single random-error-correcting and single burst-correcting with a burst length that can be made arbitrarily large.
