Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

In this study, we establish several coupled fixed point results in quantale-valued quasi-metric spaces (QVQMSs), which constitutes a generalization of metric and probabilistic metric spaces. The obtained results will be illustrated with concrete examples.

Some fixed point results in Menger spaces using a control function [PDF]
Here we prove a probabilistic contraction mapping principle in Menger spaces. This is in line with research in fixed point theory using control functions which was initiated by Khan et al. [Bull. Austral. Math.

Statistical convergence in probabilistic generalized metric spaces w.r.t. strong topology
In this paper, the concept of probabilistic g-metric space with degree l, which is a generalization of probabilistic G-metric space, is introduced. Then, by endowing strong topology, the definition of l-dimensional asymptotic density of a subset A of N l

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Symmetric Spaces and Fixed Points of Generalized Contractions
Some fixed point results in semi-metric spaces as well as in symmetric spaces are proved. Applications of our results to probabilistic spaces are also presented.

Functional-Type Caristi–Kirk Theorem on Menger Space and Application
In this paper, we extend Caristi’s fixed point theorem in metric spaces to probabilistic metric spaces, and also, we prove some common fixed point theorems for a pair of mappings satisfying a system of Caristi-type contractions in the setting of a Menger

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...
