Estimation of Medium Access Control Layer Packet Delay Distribution for IEEE 802.11
The most important standard in wireless local area networks is IEEE 802.11. This is why much of the research work for the enhancement of wireless network is usually based on the behavior of IEEE 802.11 protocol.

ON SMOOTHED PROBABILITY DENSITY ESTIMATION [PDF]
The authors study an adaptive version of a kernel density estimator based on a stationary sequence of observations \(X_ 1,X_ 2,\dots,X_ n\). A smoothing parameter, \(h_ i\), is assigned to each datum, rather than using a single choice of bandwidth. The smoothing parameters, \(\{h_ i\}\), are assumed to satisfy certain constraints.

Domain-Driven Identification of Football Probabilities
Obtaining accurate estimates of the true probabilities of sporting events remains a long-standing problem in sports analytics. In this paper we propose a new domain-driven approach that infers true probabilities from betting odds.

Visual Recovery Reflects Cortical MeCP2 Sensitivity in Rett Syndrome
ABSTRACT Objective Rett syndrome (RTT) is a devastating neurodevelopmental disorder with developmental regression affecting motor, sensory, and cognitive functions. Sensory disruptions contribute to the complex behavioral and cognitive difficulties and represent an important target for therapeutic interventions.

Frailty Exacerbates Disability in Progressive Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Background To evaluate frailty in severe progressive multiple sclerosis (PMS) and to investigate the underlying mechanisms. Methods This prospective, cross‐sectional, multicenter study enrolled a late severe PMS group requiring skilled nursing (n = 53) and an age, sex, and disease duration‐matched control PMS group (n = 53).

Changes in Immune‐Inflammation Status and Acute Ischemic Stroke Prognosis in Prospective Cohort
ABSTRACT Background Inflammation is a critical risk factor for poor outcomes in cerebral infarction. Prior studies focused primarily on baseline inflammation status, neglecting dynamic longitudinal changes. We try to investigate the association between immune‐inflammation status alterations and stroke prognosis, and evaluated three systemic biomarkers'
