Local limit theorems in free probability theory
In this paper, we study the superconvergence phenomenon in the free central limit theorem for identically distributed, unbounded summands. We prove not only the uniform convergence of the densities to the semicircular density but also their $L^p ...

Conditional probability in Renyi spaces [PDF]
In 1933 Kolmogorov constructed a general theory that defines the modern concept of conditional probability. In 1955 Renyi fomulated a new axiomatic theory for probability motivated by the need to include unbounded measures. This note introduces a general concept of conditional probability in Renyi spaces.

Osimertinib reduces angiogenesis and PDL1 expression in in ovo tumors, transforming them into ‘cold tumors’ with lower immune activity. Anatomopathological and transcriptomic analyses highlight its therapeutic impact on tumor biology. This study underscores osimertinib's potential to reshape the tumor microenvironment and provides insights into its ...

Finding Structures of Interest in a Large Data Set Using Factor Analysis
In this paper we introduce a statistical method which can be used in combination with principal component analysis or factor analysis. Certain variables of a large data set which are of interest can be selected in order to calculate loadings and scores ...

Quantum Mechanics as an Exotic Probability Theory [PDF]
Recent results suggest that quantum mechanical phenomena may be interpreted as a failure of standard probability theory and may be described by a Bayesian complex probability theory.

Ca2+‐mediated response to DMSO was investigated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells expressing Ca2+‐dependent aequorin. Cell exposure to DMSO induced a cytosolic Ca2+ wave dependent on the integrity of the Cch1/Mid1 channel. Deletion of KCS1 or VIP1 genes encoding the phosphoinositol pyrophosphate (PP‐IP) synthases suppressed the DMSO‐induced Ca2 ...

Channel Capacity Estimation using Free Probability Theory
In many channel measurement applications, one needs to estimate some characteristics of the channels based on a limited set of measurements. This is mainly due to the highly time varying characteristics of the channel.

Stationary probability vectors of higher-order two-dimensional transition probability tensors [PDF]
In this paper we investigate stationary probability vectors of higher-order two-dimensional symmetric transition probability tensors. We show that there are two special symmetric transition probability tensors of order $m$ dimension 2, which have and only have two stationary probability vectors; and any other symmetric transition probability tensor of ...

A non-crossing word cooperad for free homotopy probability theory [PDF]
We construct a cooperad which extends the framework of homotopy probability theory to free probability theory. The cooperad constructed, which seems related to the sequence and cactus operads, may be of independent interest.
