A study of problematic drug use in Nottinghamshire

A detailed investigation into the prevalence of drug misuse in the County of Nottinghamshire in 1984 is reported. The mean age of all abusers in the county was found to be 28.67 years, hallucinogen users being significantly younger. The majority of misusers were found to be using a drug in a single category. The male to female ratio was 3.35:1.
