A morphological comparative study of proboscis sensilla between Pierinae and Coliadinae (Lepidoptera: Pieridae)

Pontia edusa (Linnaeus, 1758) and Colias croceus (Geoffroy, 1785 in Fourcroy), which are in different subfamilies within Pieridae, feed on nectar. In this study, we tested the hypothesis that sensilla differ in the subfamily category.

Habitat Preference and Spatiotemporal Habitat Use of the Endangered Flat‐Headed Cat in the Proposed Lundu Mangrove Protected Forest, Sarawak, Malaysia

These findings identify nibong habitat as the primary habitat of the flat‐headed cat within the proposed Lundu Mangrove Protected Forest, while buta‐buta habitat also provides important complementary habitat under intermediate hydrological conditions.

Abstract The more than 360 species of stem‐succulent stapeliads in the tribe Ceropegieae represent a perfect example for species radiation and diversification in response to pollination by flies.
