In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

QUALITY DESIGN METHOD USING PROCESS CAPABILITY INDEX
Product quality is usually variable because errors of machining and an assembling are also variable. Tolerancing in a mechanical design process is important because it directly affects product quality and manufacturing cost. Many tolerancing methods have been studied.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

A note on the behaviour of the process capability index Cpmk with asymmetric specification limits [PDF]
The properties of Cpmk in the presence of asymmetric specification limits are discussed. It is shown that Cpmk tends to zero as the process variation increases and vice versa.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Modified Cp and Cpk Indices Based on Left-Truncated Data
The process capability indices Cp and Cpk are commonly used in industry to evaluate process capability, but they usually require that quality data follow a normal distribution.
