Multiresponse optimization using multivariate process capability index
Quality and Reliability Engineering International, 2010AbstractRobust design is an efficient method for product and process improvement which combines experimentation with optimization to create a system that is less sensitive to uncontrollable variation. In this article, a simple and integrated modeling methodology for robust design is proposed.

A CAPABILITY INDEX FOR MULTIPLE PROCESS STREAMS
Quality Engineering, 1999The capability for each separate stream of a process having multiple process streams can be calculated by applying conventional capability metrics such as Cp or Cpk. Because the streams typically have dissimilar averages and standard deviations, the Cpk..

Viability and capability indexes for multiresponse processes
Journal of Applied Statistics, 1998The viability index Vr is introduced as an intuitively appealing measure of the capability potential of a process. It is related to the well-known index Cp but has some advantages over it. The statistical properties of Vr are readily obtainable and, unlike Cp, it extends naturally to multi-response processes.

A Weighting Multivariate Process Capability Index
2010 International Conference on System Science, Engineering Design and Manufacturing Informatization, 2010Process quality ultimately decides on the quality of electronic products. Based on analyzing and improving process capability index (PCI), microelectronics process quality of electronic products may be effectively assured. Nowadays with the rapid development in microelectronics process, Quality evaluation of processes concerns more than one quality ...

A process capability index for simple linear profile
The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 2012In some cases, the quality of a process or a product is characterized by a linear regression model which is also called a linear profile. Process capability index is an important concept in statistical quality control and measures the ability of a process to manufacture products that meet certain specifications.

A multivariate process capability index with a spatial coefficient
Journal of Semiconductors, 2013After analyzing the multivariate Cpm method (Chan et al. 1991), this paper presents a spatial multivariate process capability index (PCI) method, which can solve a multivariate off-centered case and may provide references for assuring and improving process quality level while achieving an overall evaluation of process quality.

Fuzzy confidence interval for fuzzy process capability index
J. Intell. Fuzzy Syst., 2006Summary: Process capability indices are used to determine whether a production process is capable of producing items within specification tolerance. In practice these indices are estimated using sample data, often with quite small sample sizes. Thus, it is of interest to obtain confidence limits for the capability indexes given a sample estimate.
