THE IMPACT OF PRODUCT AND PROCESS INNOVATIONS ON FINANCIAL RESULTS: АN EMPIRICAL STUDY OF RUSSIAN COMPANIES

open access: yesСтратегические решения и риск-менеджмент
The relationship between product and process innovation and financial performance remains largely unexplored, especially for Russian firms. An analysis of publications on this topic shows both a positive and a negative relationship.

The dynamic links between product and process innovations and productivity for Colombian manufacturing [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Economic Analysis
Purpose – This paper aims to examine the interrelation between two innovating strategies (product and process) on total factor productivity (TFP) growth and the dynamic linkages between these strategies, for Colombia. The authors first explore whether ex

Empirical Likelihodd Methods for an AR(1) process with ARCH(1) errors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
For an AR(1) process with ARCH(1) errors, we propose empirical likelihood tests for testing whether the sequence is strictly stationary but has infinite variance, or the sequence is an ARCH(1) sequence or the sequence is an iid sequence.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Invariance principles for linear processes with application to isotonic regression

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, we prove maximal inequalities and study the functional central limit theorem for the partial sums of linear processes generated by dependent innovations. Due to the general weights, these processes can exhibit long-range dependence and the

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.
