Testability analysis module of FMECA processor
Combined Proceedings of the Leesburg Workshops on Reliability and Maintainability Computer-Aided Engineering in Concurrent Engineering, 2003Contemporary concurrent engineering increasingly uses multidisciplinary teams. This results in consideration of tasks related to product assurance requirements early in the design process. These requirements usually include quality assurance, reliability, maintainability and ILS.

LWRpro: An Energy-Efficient Configurable Crypto-Processor for Module-LWR
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, 2021Saber, the only module-learning with rounding-based algorithm in NIST’s third round of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) standardization process, is characterized by simplicity and flexibility. However, energy-efficient implementation of Saber is still under investigation since the commonly used number theoretic transform can not be utilized directly. In

Pulse-modulated radar display processor on a chip
18th International Parallel and Distributed Processing Symposium, 2004. Proceedings., 2004Summary form only given. As technology advances, equipment is becoming more compact, so the idea of having radar on a chip becomes more important. A radar system is broken down into its circuit elements. This system shows how we can have control of the minimum range detected by a software tool (LABVIEW) by simply moving a button instead of having ...

The visual processor module and normal adult readers
British Journal of Psychology, 1988Four experiments are reported which investigated the nature of the code used by normal adult readers in nominal matches. It was established that the code is not a name code but a non‐visual, non‐phonological, case‐independent, font‐independent, abstract representation: the abstract letter identity code.

A register transfer module FFT processor for speech analysis
Proceedings of the December 5-7, 1972, fall joint computer conference, part II on - AFIPS '72 (Fall, part II), 1972On-line speech analysis systems are the subject of much intensive research. Spectral analysis of the speech pattern is an integral part of all such systems. To facilitate this spectral analysis and the associated preprocessing required, a special purpose fast Fourier transform (FFT) processor to be described is being designed and constructed.

MAPro: A Tiny Processor for Reconfigurable Baseband Modulation Mapping
2013 26th International Conference on VLSI Design and 2013 12th International Conference on Embedded Systems, 2013The need to integrate multiple wireless communication protocols into a single low-cost flexible hardware platform is prompted by the increasing number of emerging communication protocols and applications in modern embedded systems. The modulation mapping scheme, one of the key components in the communication baseband, varies differing communication ...

Thermal design of an advanced multichip module for a RISC processor
Proceedings 1994 IEEE International Conference on Computer Design: VLSI in Computers and Processors, 2002Multichip module (MCM) technology is attracting attention from designers who need high-speed interchip connections and a reliable package for their circuit applications. This technology is being applied to realize a 1-ns cycle time 32-bit RISC processor, using 50 GHz AlGaAs/GaAs heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) technology and triple-level full ...

CROSS MODULATION IN THE SCAMP SIGNAL PROCESSOR
1966Abstract : When two or more signals of different frequencies are fed simultaneously into the input of a limiter, cross-modulation products exist in the output. Such a situation occurs in the Scamp (Single-Channel Monopulse Processor) signal processor when the sum signal and both difference signals (azimuth and elevation) of a monopulse system are ...

Packaging of GaAs signal processors on multichip modules
IEEE Transactions on Components, Hybrids, and Manufacturing Technology, 1992The extensions that must be made to the deposited multichip module (MCM-D) fabrication technology and to the design and layout of these structures in order to accommodate high clock rate ECL and GaAs digital integrated circuits are discussed. Techniques for attachment of the high clock rate chips to the MCM-Ds are discussed, including wire bond, tape ...

Assigning modules to processors in linear arrays and rings
Eighth Annual International Phoenix Conference on Computers and Communications. 1989 Conference Proceedings, 2003The authors concentrate on linear arrays and unidirectional rings of distributed processors. They are able to derive a modeling technique that transforms the assignment problem for a linear array into a minimum-cut maximum-flow problem. They also show that the assignment problem for a unidirectional ring is equivalent to the assignment problem for an ...
