Different applications and implements of the Hamming product codes [PDF]
Hamming code are a family of linear error-correcting codes, which can detect one-bit and two-bit errors, or correct one-bit errors without detection of uncorrected errors. Hamming product codes are an improved variety of Hamming codes. This paper briefly

ITERATIVE DECODING OF GEOMETRIC PRODUCT CODES
We present iterative decoding process of Geometric Product codes that is a newly proposed linear block code construction technique. We also report the bit error performances for one of the constructed code of the technique utilising our iterative ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Construction and Decoding of Product Codes with Non-Systematic Polar Codes [PDF]
Product codes are widespread in optical communications, thanks to their high throughput and good error-correction performance. Systematic polar codes have been recently considered as component codes for product codes.

Qudit homological product codes [PDF]
In this note we show that the random homological product code construction of Bravyi and Hastings can be extended to qudits of dimension D with D an odd prime. While the result is not surprising, the proof does require new ideas.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Higher-Dimensional Quantum Hypergraph-Product Codes with Finite Rates. [PDF]
We describe a family of quantum error-correcting codes which generalize both the quantum hypergraph-product codes by Tillich and Zémor and all families of toric codes on m-dimensional hypercubic lattices.

Single parity check product codes and iterative decoding
The aim of coding theory is to design codes which can achieve the fundamental limits of communication [52] and yet are simple to implement. On average randomly constructed codes can achieve this goal, but with a decoding complexity that is impractical ...

QUITS: A modular Qldpc code circUIT Simulator [PDF]
To achieve quantum fault tolerance with lower overhead, quantum low-density parity-check (QLDPC) codes have emerged as a promising alternative to topological codes such as the surface code, offering higher code rates.
