Android-Based Mathematics Learning Application with Elements of Etnomathematic Sundanese Traditional Games

open access: yesJournal of Medives: Journal of Mathematics Education IKIP Veteran Semarang, 2022
This research aims to create an Android-based mathematics learning application using ethnomaematic elements in traditional Sundanese games. The method used is RnD (Research and Development) with the Borg and Gall model.

Data‐driven forecasting of ship motions in waves using machine learning and dynamic mode decomposition

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
Summary Data‐driven forecasting of ship motions in waves is investigated through feedforward and recurrent neural networks as well as dynamic mode decomposition. The goal is to predict future ship motion variables based on past data collected on the field, using equation‐free approaches.

Mathematical theory of improvability for production systems [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 1995
A mathematical model for continuous improvement processes in production systems is formulated. Both constrained and unconstrained cases are addressed. A solution for the case of a serial production line with finite buffers and a Bernoulli model of machines reliability is given.

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Graphulo Implementation of Server-Side Sparse Matrix Multiply in the Accumulo Database

open access: yes, 2015
The Apache Accumulo database excels at distributed storage and indexing and is ideally suited for storing graph data. Many big data analytics compute on graph data and persist their results back to the database.

Optimized Cell‐Based Platform for Platelet‐Free Detection of Heparin‐Induced Thrombocytopenia Antibodies

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
This study optimized a cell‐based ELISA for HIT antibody detection using PF4‐coated breast cancer cells (MDA‐MB‐231). Enhanced binding was observed at 50 mM NaCl and 4% paraformaldehyde fixation. Live MDA‐MB‐231 and HCT‐116 cells demontrated superior sensitivity and specificity, providing a promising platelet‐free alternative for clinical HIT diagnosis.

Mathematical considerations of nonhomogeneous production processes

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications, 1977
AbstractA production process in which the production matrix changes with respect to time is called a nonhomogeneous production process. This paper gives several mathematical results on these nonhomogeneous production processes.

Unrolling of Syngonium podophyllum: Functional Anatomy, Morphology and Modelling of Its Peltate Leaves

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
The unrolling of the peltate leaves in Syngonium podophyllum is analyzed and quantified (left‐hand side to center). These measurements serve to verify a mathematical model for leaf unrolling based on the model used in Schmidt (2007). An additional formula for obtaining a layer mismatch from a prescribed radius is derived.

Antibacterial Activity of Germacrane Type Sesquiterpenes from Curcuma heyneana Rhizomes

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Chemistry, 2014
The isolation of terpenoids from C. heyneana rhizomes and their antibacterial activity have been conducted. The terpenoids were isolated by using vacuum liquid chromatography and radial chromatography.
