Knowledge Distillation Meets Reinforcement Learning: A Cluster-Driven Approach to Image Processing
Knowledge distillation (KD) enables the training of lightweight yet effective models, particularly in the visual domain. Meanwhile, reinforcement learning (RL) facilitates adaptive learning through environment-driven interactions, addressing the ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Compact spaces and products of finite spaces [PDF]
It is shown that the compact spaces are precisely the extension closed subspaces of products of finite spaces, where a subspace is extension closed if every open cover of the subspace extends to an open cover of the entire space.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

The Philippine export portfolio in the product space: potentials, possibilities and policy challenges [PDF]
Using the product space and the index for product level sophistication, the performance of the Philippines' export basket is analyzed. Results indicate that while currently it has limited options for diversification, the country can still produce ...
