Baseline Neuroinflammation Stratifies TSPO‐PET Response to Disease‐Modifying Therapy in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate which baseline clinical and imaging characteristics best predict TSPO‐PET‐measurable reduction in glial activation following treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS), to utilize this information for designing more efficient biomarker‐based clinical trials targeting glial activation.

Forecasting industrial production in the Euro area [PDF]

open access: possibleEmpirical Economics, 2000
The creation of the Euro area has increased the importance of obtaining timely information about short-term changes in the area's real activity. In this paper we propose a number of alternative short term forecasting models, ranging from simple ARIMA models to more complex cointegrated VAR and conditional models, to forecast the index of industrial ...

Orthophotograph Production in Urban Areas

The Photogrammetric Record, 1999
This paper investigates possible solutions to the problem of urban orthophotography. Extensive work has been carried out to attain the best possible results, using all the existing software in the Department of Geomatic Engineering, University College London. Two of the most promising methods, which yield the best results, are analysed further.

Harmonization of Decentralized, Autonomous Production Areas

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1992
Abstract The characteristics of one-of-a-kind production (OKP) and its order processing require an OKP-specific PPC concept. This concept is based on a two-level hierarchical approach. The disposition autonomy of the production areas and the simultaneous production necessitate the harmonization of planning results and production activities.

Production rendering on a local area network

Computers & Graphics, 1992
Abstract The production of a computer animation is a computational demanding task, specially when we are rendering complex scenes with features such as anti-aliasing, shadowing, texturing, reflections, and refractions. Depending on the complexity and duration of the animation, the generation of all images with full resolution and high quality can ...

Photofluorographic Measurement of the Roentgen Area Product

Radiology, 1973
Area monitoring with LiF and patient monitoring using LiF and a roentgen-area-product meter were conducted on two photofluorographic units housed in mobile vans. Maximum exposure levels inside the vans were 87 mR per 100 patients in occupied areas. Patient exposure averaged 236 mR and 127 R-cm2 in one van and 601 mR and 497 R-cm2 in the other.

Area-Wide Products

2019
Methods and workflows for creating area-wide products using remote sensing methods have been developed for various reasons. For the sample-based estimates in the Swiss National Forest Inventory (NFI), area-wide data sets are used for the two-phase estimations, which have substantially lower estimation errors than one-phase inventories.
