Effects of BrMYC2/3/4 on Plant Development, Glucosinolate Metabolism, and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum Resistance in Transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2021
MYC2/3/4, known as a basic helix–loop–helix (bHLH) transcription factor, directly activate the genes involved in diverse plant development and secondary metabolites biosynthesis. In this study, we identified and cloned five MYC paralogs (BrMYC2/3-1/3-2/4-

Forecasting the Dialysis Burden in Japan: Validation‐Based Projections of Prevalence and Incidence Through 2050

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

RNA-Seq Identification of Cd Responsive Transporters Provides Insights into the Association of Oxidation Resistance and Cd Accumulation in Cucumis sativus L.

open access: yesAntioxidants, 2021
Greenhouse vegetable production (GVP) has grown rapidly and has become a major force for cucumber production in China. In highly intensive GVP systems, excessive fertilization results in soil acidification, increasing Cd accumulation and oxidative stress

Area Products for H± in AdS Space [PDF]

open access: yesGalaxies, 2017
We derive the thermodynamic products, in particular the area (or entropy) products of H ± for a wide variety of black holes (BHs) in anti-de Sitter (AdS) space. We show by explicit and exact calculations that, for this class of BHs, more complicated functions of the event horizon area and Cauchy horizon area are indeed mass-independent.
