Program Complexity and Programmer Productivity
IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, 1978This paper proposes a measure of program control complexity from an information theory viewpoint. A set of empirical data showing programmer productivity as a function of program control complexity is also presented. The data reveals a step-function-like contour to programmer productivity with increasing program control complexity.

Structured programming in a production programming environment
ACM SIGPLAN Notices, 1975This paper discusses how structured programming methodology has been introduced into a large production programming organization using an integrated but flexible approach. It next analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each component of the methodology and presents some quantitative results on its use.

Digital Production Optimization Program
SPE Middle East Oil and Gas Show and Conference, 2019Abstract Unconventional plays have characteristic differences in geology, field attributes and well parameters that significantly impact the operating model. They have a higher sensitivity to cost and require high volume and continuous drilling activity to maintain production.
