Tsallis entropy of complex networks [PDF]
How complex of the complex networks has attracted many researchers to explore it. The entropy is an useful method to describe the degree of the $complex$ of the complex networks. In this paper, a new method which is based on the Tsallis entropy is proposed to describe the $complex$ of the complex networks.

Complex almost contact metric structures on complex hypersurfaces in hyperkahler manifolds [PDF]
In this paper, we construct complex metric structures on complex hypersurfaces in hyperkahler manifolds. This construction is that in contact geometry.

Objective This study aimed to identify the top 10 international research priorities for musculoskeletal health of people with generalized joint hypermobility. Methods A three‐round Delphi method using an online survey was implemented. Three participant stakeholder groups were eligible for inclusion: (1) people with lived experience of joint ...

Five Questions on Complexity [PDF]
This introductory paper is structured in the form of an "interview", where the author answers the following questions: Why did you begin working with complex systems? How would you define complexity? What is your favourite aspect/concept of complexity? In your opinion, what is the most problematic aspect/concept of complexity? How do you see the future

Dissemination of evidence-based standards of care. [PDF]
Standards of care pertain to crafting and implementing patient-centered treatment interventions. Standards of care must take into consideration the patient's gender, ethnicity, medical and dental history, insurance coverage (or socioeconomic level, if a ...

Hypoxia promotes the epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) of renal tubular epithelial cells via the SIRT1‐FoxO1‐FoxO3‐autophagy pathway, thereby resulting in the fibrosis of renal tubular epithelial cells. Activation of SIRT1 or induction of autophagy inhibits this process, alleviating hypoxia‐induced fibrosis.

Reset Complexity of Ideal Languages [PDF]
We present a new characteristic of a regular ideal language called reset complexity. We find some bounds on the reset complexity in terms of the state complexity of a given language. We also compare the reset complexity and the state complexity for languages related to slowly synchronizing automata and study uniqueness question for automata yielding ...

RhoA and Rac1 as Mechanotransduction Mediators in Colorectal Cancer
Analysing RhoA and Rac1 protein levels in Colorectal cancer (CRC) samples under mechanical strain highlights their potential as diagnostic markers. Monitoring their activity could offer valuable insights into how cancer spreads, paving the way for new approaches to better understand and diagnose colorectal cancer.

Conflict complexity is lower bounded by block sensitivity [PDF]
We show conflict complexity of every total Boolean function, recently introduced in [Swagato Sanyal. A composition theorem via conict complexity. arXiv preprint arXiv:1801.03285, 2018.] to prove a composition theorem of randomized decision tree complexity, is at least a half of its block sensitivity.
