The COMBAT classification system, developed through multi‐omics integration, stratifies adult patients with B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia(B‐ALL) into three molecular subtypes with distinct surface antigen patterns, immune landscape, methylation patterns, biological pathways and prognosis.

Malignant field signature analysis in biopsy samples at diagnosis identifies lethal disease in patients with localized Gleason 6 and 7 prostate cancer [PDF]
Overtreatment of early-stage low-risk prostate cancer (PC) patients represents a significant problem in disease management and has socio-economic implications. Development of genetic and molecular markers of clinically significant disease in patients diagnosed with low grade localized PC would have a major impact in disease management.

In patients treated with atezolizumab as a part of the MyPathway (NCT02091141) trial, pre‐treatment ctDNA tumor fraction at high levels was associated with poor outcomes (radiographic response, progression‐free survival, and overall survival) but better sensitivity for blood tumor mutational burden (bTMB).

Model of cell response to α-particle radiation [PDF]
Starting from a general equation for organism (or cell system) growth and attributing additional cell death rate (besides the natural rate) to therapy, we derive an equation for cell response to {\alpha} radiation. Different from previous models that are based on statistical theory, the present model connects the consequence of radiation with the ...

Trastuzumab‐deruxtecan, a HER2‐targeting antibody‐drug conjugate, shows promising antitumor activity in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma with low HER2 expression. In vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated dose‐dependent cell death and tumor growth reduction in low HER2‐expressing cell lines, which correlated with drug accumulation measured using a

Loss of primary cilia in endothelial cells promotes EndMT and vascular abnormalities in the ovarian tumor microenvironment through EphA2 activation. Using human samples, in vitro models, and endothelial‐specific Kif3a‐knockout mice, we show that primary cilia loss drives the acquisition of cancer‐associated fibroblast‐like phenotypes, thereby ...

Yeast Bax Inhibitor, Bxi1p, Is an ER-Localized Protein that Links the Unfolded Protein Response and Programmed Cell Death in \u3cem\u3eSaccharomyces cerevisiae\u3c/em\u3e [PDF]
Bax inhibitor-1 (BI-1) is an anti-apoptotic gene whose expression is upregulated in a wide range of human cancers. Studies in both mammalian and plant cells suggest that the BI-1 protein resides in the endoplasmic reticulum and is involved in the ...
