Information and Software Technology, 2004
Abstract It is usual to base the assessment of software testing progress on a coverage measure such as code coverage or specification coverage, or on the percentage of the input domain exercised. In this paper it is argued that these characteristics do not provide good indications of the degree to which the software has been tested.

Progress in Impulse Testing of Transformers
Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, 1944Impulse testing of transformers has resulted in improvement of design and manufacturing methods. Not only should the test methods now given in American Standard C57.2 be simplified to effect a reduction in cost of tests, but the test code should be modified to give an adequate assurance of failure detection.

Industrial Lubrication and Tribology, 1996
Outlines the various testing procedures carried out by BICERI, including engine fuel and lubricant testing. Describes the universal wear machine, and explains the three test modes: pin‐on disc, block‐on‐ring and pin‐on‐reciprocating plate.

Testing Web Services Using Progressive Group Testing
2004This paper proposes progressive group testing techniques to test large number of Web services (WS) available on Internet. At the unit testing level, the WS with the same functionality are tested in group using progressively increasing number of test cases.

Transrenal DNA testing: progress and perspectives
Expert Review of Molecular Diagnostics, 2006Transrenal DNA (Tr-DNA) is a recently discovered class of extracellular urinary DNA that originates from cells dying throughout the body. Postapoptotic DNA is known to appear in the circulating plasma, but it is now recognized that a portion of these fragments cross the kidney barrier and appear in urine in the form of 150-200-bp fragments.

Progress in design for test: a personal view
IEEE Design & Test of Computers, 1994The author discusses the history and benefits of design for test. He describes common arguments against it and gives convincing rebuttals to each. In addition, he provides a glimpse into the future of DFT. The problem is that we do not have a measurable parameter that expresses the incremental gain in product quality arising from the addition of some ...

Progress in Standardizing Antifungal Susceptibility Tests
Clinics in Laboratory Medicine, 1989In vitro tests of antifungal agents are receiving increasing attention as important procedures for the clinical laboratory. As antifungal agents proliferate, it will become more and more valuable to have available antifungal susceptibility tests to aid in treatment selections based on the specific activities of different drugs against a patient's own ...
