Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

USING THE DELPHI TECHNIQUE AND EFQM MODEL APPROACH TO BUILD A CONCEPTUAL MODEL FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT PERFORMANCE

open access: yesФінансово-кредитна діяльність: проблеми теорії та практики
This study presents a new conceptual framework for evaluating the performance of construction projects, based on an adaptation of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Impact of strategic and servant leadership on project performance: measurement model for improvement in project performance

open access: yes, 2023
El modelado con ecuaciones estructurales ha aportado grandes ventajas en el entendimiento del desempeño en proyectos, aunque de igual manera ha incrementado la complejidad con que los mismos son analizados, por tanto, esta investigación tiene como ...

Ambidextrous Leadership and Sustainability-Based Project Performance: The Role of Project Culture

open access: yes, 2017
Most studies in the project management field emphasized the effects of leaders or managers, but these effects have rarely been examined at the project level.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
