The projectile inside the loop
In this paper we describe an alternative use of the loop-the-loop apparatus, which can be used to study an interesting case of projectile motion. We also present an effective way to perform and analyze these experiments, by using video capture software together with a digital video camera.

Military lands provide an opportunity to recover red wolves
Red wolf (Canis rufus) recovery remains challenging, with only one population persisting and no reintroductions since 1998. Despite extensive, biodiverse properties in the Southeast with conservation mandates, military lands have been overlooked. In our paper, we evaluate them as a potential path forward for red wolf reintroduction sites.

Abstract 3D scanning is rapidly becoming a key maintenance tool. Aerospace was a pioneer in adopting 3D scanning technology because aircraft manufacture and maintenance require precision. Monitoring deterioration, removing components for maintenance, and verifying covert operations are not practical or helpful without technology.

Cougar density on the Oregon Coast: Using dead recovery modeling in an open population
The primary objective of this study was to determine cougar density in western Oregon. Our results demonstrate that integrating DNA collected via bio‐darting, mandatory hunter‐harvest check‐ins, and GPS collar data into the OPCR2 is a reliable method for estimating cougar densities in densely forested coastal systems.
