Complete and cocomplete Lie algebras with injective and projective properties
Motivated by the classical correspondence between short exact sequences and splitting properties in module theory, this paper examines the projective and injective analogues within the category of Lie algebras. We first show that no Lie algebra can serve as a projective or injective object with respect to arbitrary extensions, thereby clarifying the ...

Resonance‐induced restoration of rock permeability degraded by heavy components of crude oil
Resonance‐induced changes occur in filtration properties of sedimentary rocks in crude paraffin oil flow under acoustic vibrations. Experimental data on (a) pressure drop; (b) permeability; (c) pressure at the rock inlet; and (d) pressure at the rock outlet are presented.

Study on fracture parameter calibration and failure characteristics of rock with hole and crack
The SIF and plastic zone equations for a single hole and crack have been derived. The model's failure state leads to the identification of four types of cracks. The plastic zone increases with increased brittleness and decreased crack length. Abstract Cracks within the surrounding rock of roadways significantly affect their stability and failure ...

Cong Fu et al. demonstrate that glymphatic system dysfunction is linked to enhanced inhibitory cortical activity using diffusion MRI and EEG. These findings highlight a mechanistic link between perivascular fluid dynamics and neuronal activity, suggesting a role for glymphatic function in maintaining cortical stability in epilepsy.

Lie algebras of H-projective motions of Kähler manifolds of constant holomorphic sectional curvature
In the paper, the Lie algebras of infinitesimal H-projective transformations with 2n-dimensional Kahler manifolds of constant holomorphic sectional curvature are considered.

ABSTRACT Multi‐supported non‐structural components (NSCs) are prone to seismic damage, yet their response prediction remains challenging when support motions are spatially incoherent. This study proposes an enhanced quasi‐static condensation (EQSC) method for linear, lightweight, dynamically detuned multi‐supported NSCs under the neglect of primary ...

ABSTRACT We present four novel tests of equal predictive accuracy and encompassing á Pitarakis (2023, 2025) for factor‐augmented regressions. Factors are estimated using cross‐section averages (CAs) of grouped series and our theoretical findings are empirically relevant: asymptotic normality, robustness to an overspecification of the number of factors,

A Lie algebra method for rational parametrization of Severi–Brauer surfaces
It is well known that a Severi–Brauer surface has a rational point if and only if it is isomorphic to the projective plane. Given a Severi–Brauer surface, we study the problem to decide whether such an isomorphism to the projective plane, or such a ...

Signed Projective Cubes, a Homomorphism Point of View
ABSTRACT The (signed) projective cubes, as a special class of graphs closely related to the hypercubes, are on the crossroad of geometry, algebra, discrete mathematics and linear algebra. Defined as Cayley graphs on binary groups, they represent basic linear dependencies.
