An extension of PROMETHEE II to temporal evaluations

International Journal of Multicriteria Decision Making, 2018
Conventional PROMETHEE methods have been designed to help decision makers to manage multicriteria problems without considering temporal evaluations. The aim of this paper is to introduce a temporal extension of PROMETHEE II. A new approach to set dynamic thresholds is introduced.

PROMETHEE II: A knowledge-driven method for copper exploration

Computers & Geosciences, 2012
This paper describes the application of a well-known Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) technique called Preference Ranking Organization METHod for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE II) to explore porphyry copper deposits. Various raster-based evidential layers involving geological, geophysical, and geochemical geo-datasets are integrated to prepare ...

An extension of the Promethee II method based on generalized fuzzy numbers

2009 IEEE International Conference on Grey Systems and Intelligent Services (GSIS 2009), 2009
This paper proposes a novel measure among generalized fuzzy numbers and is used to express linguistic variables based on the measure of interval number. Simultaneously, it also presents an extension Promethee II method and achieves the ranking order of alternatives on the basis of considering the defuzzified values, the heights and the spreads of ...
