Synthesis of substituted tetrahydro-1,3-oxazines [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
A number of mono-, di-, tri-, and tetrasubstituted tetrahydro-1,3-oxazines were synthesized by the reaction of 3-amino- and 3-methylamino-1-propanols with aldehydes.

Diverging Liquid–Liquid Phase Separation Behavior of Different Recombinant Major Ampullate Spidroins

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fibers spun from the MaSp1‐derivative as well as MaSp1‐MaSp2‐mixtures provide a deeper insight into the assembly process of the spidroins and how hierarchical architectures of spider silk fibers could be achieved. ABSTRACT Spider silk fibers show exceptional mechanical properties, based on their underlying spider silk proteins (spidroins) as well as a ...

Formation of single diastereomers of β-hydroxy sulfoxides by biotransformation of β-ketosulfides using Helminthosporium species NRRL 4671

open access: yes, 2002
Single biotransformations of 1-(phenylthio)-2-propanone and 1-(p-methoxyphenylthio)-2-propanone by the fungus Helminthosporium species NRRL 4671 resulted in both sulfur oxidation to the sulfoxide and carbonyl reduction to the alcohol. The corresponding (

Molecular Interaction of Aqueous Solution of 1-Propanol and 2-Propanol

open access: yesOriental Journal of Chemistry, 2019
Viscosities (ƞ) of solutions of 1- propanol and 2-propanol have been determined in aqueous systems of varying composition (0.16-3.64 mol dm-3) at 298 K. The ƞ/ƞ0 data have been analyzed in the light of reduced Jone-Dole equation ƞ/ƞ0 = BC+1. The results in the regards to solute-solvent interaction in aqueous solutions of both the alcohols have been ...

Plasma‐Engineered Polyethylene‐Reinforced Anion Exchange Membranes With Low Ionic Resistance and Low Hydrogen Crossover for Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Oxygen plasma functionalizes porous polyethylene, enabling complete hydrocarbon ionomer infiltration within a dense submicron pore network. The resulting reinforced composite membrane simultaneously enhances mechanical robustness and suppresses hydrogen permeation at ultrathin thickness. An integrated performance index confirms the effectiveness of the

香料アルコールからのジアルコキシプロパノールおよびエステル類の合成 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1964
application/pdfThe condensation of α-alcohoxy glycidyl ethers with perfumery hydroxy compounds were studied on using boron trifluoride catalyst. 400 mole?% of alcohols were needed for condensation and when using l mole-% catalyst, yields of dialcohoxy ...

7-(3-Substituted amino-2-hydroxypropyl)-8-hydroxymethyltheophyllines

open access: yes, 1979
N-Substituted derivatives of 7-(3-amino-2-hydroxypropyl)-8-hydroxymethyltheophylline II were prepared by addition of the respective amines to 7-epoxypropyl-8-hydroxymethyltheophylline (I) and alternatively, by alkylation of the potassium salt of 8 ...

An Unbiased Geometry‐Resolved Membrane Platform for Proteome‐Scale Discovery of Membrane Curvature Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel geometry‐resolved membrane platform provides a seamlessly integrated pipeline for studying curvature‐sensing proteins. By linking shotgun proteomics with quantitative imaging, this approach enables both the unbiased discovery and rigorous validation of novel sensors across the entire curvature range—positive, negative, and zero.

Critical Roles of O‐Acetylation Revealed by Synthetic Trisaccharide Antigens for a Broad‐Spectrum Anti‐Salmonella Vaccine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A synthetic glycoconjugate vaccine based on a diacetylated Salmonella trisaccharide elicits broadly protective antibodies against four major human pathogenic serovars. Mechanistic studies identify 2,3‐di‐O‐acetylation of rhamnose as a critical determinant of antigen recognition and breadth of protection, establishing a new strategy for broad‐spectrum ...

Conversion of chlorinated propanes by Methylosinus trichosporium OB3b expressing soluble methane monooxygenase [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Chlorinated propanes are important pollutants that may show persistent behaviour in the environment. The biotransformation of 1-chloropropane, 1,2-dichloropropane, 1,3-dichloropropane and 1,2,3-trichloropropane was studied using resting cell suspensions ...
