On the removal of s-triazine herbicides from waters using commercial low-cost granular carbons [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2010
The adsorption capacities of three low-cost granular active carbons, used in a water treatment facility for the removal of the triazine herbicides propazine, prometryn and prometon, was evaluated. Kinetic studies showed that the three carbon samples used

Genetically Engineered Nanobody–Recombinant Antibody Colloidal Gold Strip for Ultrasensitive Atrazine Detection in Fruits and Vegetables

open access: yesFood Safety and Health, Volume 4, Issue 3, Page 737-748, July 2026.
A sensitive colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay for atrazine was successfully established using genetically engineered nanobody‐recombinant antibody, which overcame the shortcomings of traditional antigen‐antibody. ABSTRACT Colloidal gold immunochromatography (CG‐ICA) is distinguished by its cost‐effectiveness and rapid detection capabilities ...

Liquid Chromatographic Determination of Simazine, Atrazine, and Propazine Residues in Catfish

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 1995
Abstract A liquid chromatographic (LC) method is described for the simultaneous determination of the triazine herbicides, simazine (SIM), atrazine (ATZ), and propazine (PRO) in the 12.5–100 ppb range in catfish. The herbicides are extracted from catfish homogenates with ethyl acetate, followed by solvent partitioning between acetonitrile

Development of a Highly Sensitive Time‐Resolved Fluorescence Immunochromatographic Assay for Rapid Onsite Determination of Prometryn Residues in Food Samples

open access: yesFood Safety and Health, Volume 4, Issue 2, Page 464-474, April 2026.
The recombinant full‐length antibody against prometryn (PRO‐rAb) was prepared by HEK293 (F) cell expression system and utilized as the foundation for time‐resolved fluorescence immunochromatographic assay (TRFICA). The established method showed good performance for the detection of prometryn residues in five food samples. ABSTRACT Prometryn, a triazine
