Interphase Self‐Optimization Enables Stable Magnesium Anode in Hydrogel Electrolyte
Based on a MgCl2 hydrogel electrolyte, we identify a tridentate chelant additive to construct a magnesium oxychloride interphase on Mg metal anodes. This self‐optimized interphase enables low‐resistance Mg2+ stripping/plating, resulting in much elongated cycling life of 600 h with 0.24 V nucleation overpotential.

Analysis of noise measured from a propeller in a wake [PDF]
In this experimental study, the acoustic characteristics of a propeller operating in a wake were studied. The propeller performance and noise were measured from two 0.25 scale propellers operating in an open jet anechoic flow environment with and without

ABSTRACT Biohybrid microswimmers, which integrate the unique mobility and taxis of living cells with the versatility of synthetic cargo, offer exciting opportunities for targeted delivery. However, current biohybrids lack autonomous decision‐making capabilities due to the absence of communication between living and synthetic components. Here, we report

A near‐infrared photosensitizer that facilitates efficient solid‐state photon upconversion by recycling triplets formed within a fullerene‐based donor–acceptor bulk‐heterojunction system is demonstrated. Spectroscopic investigations reveal that the energy of photogenerated charge transfer states of triplet character (3CT) is subsequently transferred to

Propeller scale effect and body interference [PDF]
This note shows that the main part of the discrepancy between full flight propeller performance and the performance of models in a wind tunnel is due to a scale effect, and that a minor part is caused by body interference.

Multiscale Acoustic Bubble Actuators Using Bioinspired Liquid‐Repellent Microstructures
The article presents multiscale acoustic bubble actuators using bioinspired liquid‐repellent microstructures, enabling programmable trapping, pumping, mixing, and precise flow control. Mimicking springtail microstructures, these scalable actuators (200 µm–1 mm) offer multifunctionality in all‐in‐one devices, letter‐shaped arrays, and 3D cube ...
