IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.

Fall back equilibrium is a refinement of the Nash equilibrium concept. In the underly- ing thought experiment each player faces the possibility that, after all players decided on their action, his chosen action turns out to be blocked.

On proper $\mathbb{R}$-actions on hyperbolic Stein surfaces
15 pagesInternational audienceIn this paper we investigate proper $\mathbb{R}$--actions on hyperbolic Stein surfaces and prove in particular the following result: Let $D\subset\mathbb{C}^2$ be a simply-connected bounded domain of holomorphy which admits ...

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Proper isometric actions of hyperbolic groups on L-P-spaces
We show that every non-elementary hyperbolic group Gamma admits a proper affine isometric action on L-P(partial derivative Gamma x partial derivative Gamma), where partial derivative Gamma denotes the boundary of Gamma and p is large enough.

The Determination of a Minimum Critical Distance for Avoiding Action by a Stand-on Vessel as Permitted by Rule 17a) ii) [PDF]
In accordance with Rule 17a)ii) a stand-on vessel may take action to avoid collision by her manoeuvre alone, as soon as it becomes apparent to her that the vessel required to keep out of her way is not taking appropriate action in compliance with the ...
