From Spark to Flame: ROS‐ and Light‐Cascade Activatable NIR‐II AIE Probe for Precise Tumor Imaging and Self‐Amplifying Phototherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ROS‐ and NIR light‐cascade activatable NIR‐II AIE theranostic probe (TT‐DHIn) is developed by integration of dihydroindole skeleton with oxidative dehydrogenation reaction mechanism and AIE skeleton with a twisted configuration. Upon ROS in the tumor microenvironment and NIR light activation, TT‐DHIn can achieve dual‐model imaging‐guided precise tumor ...

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

The Immune Microenvironment in Liver Cancer: From Analysis to Targeting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review explores how smart nanomedicines overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in liver cancer. It details targeted delivery strategies and immune reprogramming mechanisms, including remodeling abnormal physiology, modulating metabolism, and inducing immunogenic cell death. The article highlights the paradigm shift toward multimodal

A Primer on Intellectual Capital [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
{Excerpt} Born of the information revolution, knowledge management has arisen in response to the belated understanding that intellectual capital is a core asset of organizations and that it should be circumscribed better. From this perspective, it is the

Understanding the Interplay Between Thermal Activation, Diffusion, and Phase Segregation of Molecular Dopants Blended with Polymeric Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The use of air stable but thermally labile molecules provides an efficient strategy for the N‐type doping of organic semiconductors with relatively low electron affinities. Design criteria for efficient dopants should also take into account diffusion and phase segregation that cannot be decoupled from thermally activated doping.

``The absence of the difference from a pot is potness'' -- Axiomatic Proofs of Theorems Concerning Negative Properties in Navya-Ny\=aya [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Science Journal of Moldova, 2016
The present paper deals with an aspect of the Navya-Ny\=aya ``logic of property and location'' (Matilal) in classical Indian philosophy, namely the so-called ``absences'' (\textit{abh\=ava}).

Cultural replication and microbial evolution [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The aim of this paper is to argue that cultural evolution is in many ways much more similar to microbial than to macrobial biological evolution.

Polymerization‐Charge Controlled Threshold Voltage Tunability in Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Precise control of the deposited charge during chronoamperometric electropolymerization enables fine tuning of the threshold voltage and near‐zero gate bias at transconductance maximum in organic electrochemical transistors based on a clickable organic mixed ionic‐electronic conductor.
