Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Maternal Preconception Antibiotic Exposure Disrupts Microbial Succession: A Transgenerational Risk for Offspring Gut Mucosal Immaturity and Colitis Susceptibility

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that maternal antibiotic exposure prior to conception disrupts intergenerational gut microbial succession. By enhancing maternal‐offspring microbial transmission, altering microbial developmental trajectories and increasing selective pressures during community assembly, these disturbances lead to persistent gut mucosal immaturity and

Synthesis of nonionic-anionic colloidal systems based on alkaline and ammonium β-nonylphenol polyethyleneoxy (n = 3-20) propionates/dodecylbenzenesulfonates with prospects for food hygiene

open access: yesChemistry Central Journal, 2012
Background The main objective of this work was to obtain a binary system of surface-active components (nonionic soap – alkaline and/or ammonium dodecylbenzenesulfonate) with potential competences in food hygiene, by accessing a scheme of classical ...

Cytochrome c 6-like protein as a putative donor of electrons to photosystem I in the cyanobacterium Nostoc sp. PCC 7119 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Most organisms performing oxygenic photosynthesis contain either cytochrome c 6 or plastocyanin, or both, to transfer electrons from cytochrome b 6-f to photosystem I. Even though plastocyanin has superseded cytochrome c 6 along evolution, plants contain

Bifidobacterium Pseudolongum‐Derived Acetate Attenuates Acute Pancreatitis Through GPR43‐Mediated Suppression of M1 Macrophage Polarization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The severity of acute pancreatitis (AP) is linked to reduced abundance of Bifidobacterium pseudolongum (B. pseudolongum). Administration of B. pseudolongum or its key metabolite acetate alleviates pancreatic and systemic inflammation by suppressing M1 macrophage polarization.

Recent Trends in Metabolomics by NMR Spectroscopy

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
AI tools were applied to analyze more than 5 000 publications indexed in Scopus (2018–2025), identifying key trends and research directions in NMR‐based metabolomics. The artificial intelligence‐assisted workflow classified papers into six main fields of application, human health, food and nutrition, veterinary science, plants, environment, and ...

Gut Lactate Boosts Ruminococcus via Histone Lactylation to Mediate Time‐Restricted Feeding Protection in Crohn's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TRF enriches Ruminococcus, a bacterial genus producing SCFAs, and activates the epithelial HIF‐1α signaling pathway. This mechanism protects the colonic mucosa from inflammatory insults in colitis models. Mechanistically, gut lactate production during starvation and refeeding mediates H4K12la, which increases SLC9A3 expression and creates an acidic gut

Aldehyde–Olefin Couplings by Photoinduced Reduction of Electron‐Deficient Olefins with Hantzsch Ester Anions

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Single‐electron transfer‐mediated reductive carbonyl–olefin couplings are valuable carbon–carbon bond forming reactions. However, limitations persist for couplings of aliphatic aldehydes with electron‐deficient olefins. Here, we report a simple, photocatalyst‐free protocol that overcomes these limitations by using a Hantzsch ester anion as a ...

Mass‐Produced and High‐Performance Nanowell Biosensor Fabricated via Semiconductor Manufacturing for Rapid and Accurate COVID‐19 Diagnosis in the Clinical Field

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A semiconductor‐fabricated nanowell biosensor enables rapid, scalable, and highly reproducible detection of SARS‐CoV‐2 antigens from nasal swabs within ∼10 minutes. Clinical validation in 249 retrospective and 243 prospective patient samples demonstrates high sensitivity and specificity, minimal cross‐reactivity, and robust batch‐to‐batch ...
