Total deformation theory for non-proportional loading
International Journal of Pressure Vessels and Piping, 1998Abstract This study presents a technique to apply a total deformation theory to non-proportional loading cases. A total deformation theory capable of analyzing a sequence of linear non-proportional load steps is proposed. Each linear loading path is defined with reference to its previous loading path, analogous to proportional loading.

The non-proportional loading of mild steel
Materials Research ProceedingsAbstract. The effect of proportional loading on formability has been extensively studied. However, non-proportional loading occurs frequently in a stamping operation and its impact on formability has been studied less. Non-proportional loading occurs in two areas of stamping: continuously during the draw stage of a complex geometry and discontinuously ...

Thermal Plasticity: Unidirectional Proportional Loading
2015This chapter deals with the problems of the theory of thermal plasticity in which, under proportional change of stress tensor components, the plastic deformation increases at a loading and heating, and does not vary at unloading and cooling. The temperature range in which creep can be neglected is considered. Analysis of results of material tests under

A Proportional Load Balancing for Wireless Sensor Networks
2009 Third International Conference on Sensor Technologies and Applications, 2009This paper presents a new load balancing method for wireless sensor networks. In most routing schemes a sender forwards its packets destined for the same sink through the same neighbor. Thus, the nodes located in the intersection of multiple paths carry a large amount of workload and exhaust their energy rapidly.

The buckling loads of unbraced PR frames under non-proportional loading
Journal of Constructional Steel Research, 2002Abstract This paper discusses the elastic stability of unbraced frames with partially restrained (PR) connections under non-proportional loading drawing upon the concept of storey-based buckling. The problem of determining critical elastic buckling loads of the frames under non-proportional loading is expressed as a pair of minimization and ...
