Biochemical Characterization of a Kunitz‐Type Protease Inhibitor From Mimosa regnellii and Its Effects on Melanoma Cell Viability and Angiogenesis

Chemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 4, April 2026.
A Kunitz‐type serine protease inhibitor (JTI) purified from Mimosa regnellii seeds selectively targets melanoma cells. JTI triggers mitochondrial apoptosis, increases ROS and Ca2+ levels, arrests the cell cycle, and suppresses migration and angiogenesis without affecting healthy cells.

Fabrication and Mechanical Performance of Bark Cloth/Glass Fiber Reinforced Hybrid Polymer Composites for Automotive Applications

Engineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
This study demonstrates that hybridizing bark cloth with glass fibers significantly improves the mechanical performance of polyester composites. Optimal properties were achieved at higher glass fiber content and strategic stacking sequences, highlighting the potential of these hybrids for automotive and structural applications.
