Thermal Radiation Sensors Based on Ionic‐Conducting Pectin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work reports on ionic‐conducting thin‐film sensors made from crosslinked pectin for non‐contact perception via thermal radiation sensing. Pectin‐based sensors with improved robustness are demonstrated, exhibiting continuous functionality for multiple days rather than several hours.

Artificial Nervous Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By drawing inspiration from biological neural hierarchies and the working mechanisms of plasticity, researchers have constructed a series of bionic devices, including sensory devices, synapse devices, and artificial neural systems. They committed to simulating and surpassing the biological information processing function, thereby realizing the ...

A Super‐Capacitive Pressure Sensor with Ultrahigh Sensitivity and Wide Linear Pressure Sensing Range for Human Bio‐Signal Detection and Electronic Skin

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Incorporating a PVA/H3PO4 ionic elastomer and a hierarchical hemisphere structure within the electrolyte layer, along with a curvy top electrode, enables the super‐capacitive pressure sensor to achieve ultrahigh sensitivity (34.79 nF kPa−1) and a broad linear sensing range (0–800 kPa).

2D Tellurene‐Based Optoelectronic Memristor with Temporal Dynamics for Multimodal Reservoir Computing System

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The SPP‐treated Te‐based optoelectronic memristor demonstrates multimodal synaptic function in a single device under infrared optical and electrical stimuli. The multimode RC system is adept for processing sequence signals, including multisensory fusion and ECG pattern recognition.
